With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Steven Bowen of Coats, North Carolina, born in Windsor, North Carolina, who passed away on March 30, 2024 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Howard Wheeler Bowen. He is survived by: his mother Jane Earp Bowen; his sisters, Donna Bowen and Debbie Jean Bowen Cochran; his wife Anita (Nia); his children, Micah, Noah, Lauren and Leah; his niece Selene Cochran (David Stephens); his siblings-in-law, John and Christine Allen; his nieces and nephews, Reagan and Jonathan; and also, Johnny and Almeta Allen. He is also survived by his wife, children, family, and friends.

“Lee & I (Donna Hankin) were so saddened to hear of Steve's passing. We have truly enjoyed being with him. Steve was inspirational, his vision of the possibilities with our farmhouse renovation were significant and we will treasure his impact for years to come. We feel fortunate to have been able to visit, relax after a hard days work and share stories of our experiences. Since hearing of his departure we've had "heavy hearts". We wish his memory to be a comfort & inspiration all.”
