He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman W. Garriss and Elizabeth Leonard Garriss; his wife Billie Byrd Garriss; and his brother Stephen Garriss. He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Page (Craig) of Dunn and Connie Beasley (Ronnie) of Benson; his grandchildren, Brittany Coats (Dustin), Dylan Page (Leslie), Christopher Beasley, Tyler Page and Brandon Page; his great grandchildren, Fitz Coats and Christian Coats; his siblings, Raymond Garriss (Linda) of Wilmington and Sue Stinson (John) of Cary; and his close friend Doris Register of Erwin.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and, the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
