It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Bedford Godwin of Coats, North Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Dorsey and Cornelia Blackmon Bedford; and her husband Vonor Lee Godwin. She is survived by: her children, Ruth Ann Godwin Sullivan (Timothy) of Fredericksburg, VA, Linda Ann Godwin Limerick (Warren) of Coats and Lee Allen Godwin (Katie) of Little Washington; her grandchildren, Jason Sullivan, Tiffany Sullivan, Kyle Aldred, Ahna Aldred, Allen Austin Godwin, Shaun Limerick and Branson Connor Godwin; her great grandchildren, Nolan Daniel Sullivan, Grayson Timothy Sullivan, Althea Jane Sullivan, Alani Grace Aldred, Layla Marie Aldred, Brookelyn Godwin and Josephine Ann Sullivan; and her sister Nancy Bedford King of Alexandria, VA.
