She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Horton and Theresa Register Horton; her husband Clarence Barefoot; her daughter Tammy Barefoot Ennis; and her siblings, Cortelle Horton, Maybelle Clay, Maxine Barefoot and Peggy Barnes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Moody (Max) and Sharon Barefoot; her son-in-law Don Ennis; her grandchildren, Lucia Turlington (Kyle), Meghan Karwatt (Steven) and Joseph Castaldo; her great grandchildren, Luke Turlington and Guilianna Karwatt; and her sisters, LaRue Kearney, Gloria Allen, Evelyn Ferrell (Terry) and Delores Stewart (Ronnie).
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
