She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Byrd and Thelma Beasley Byrd; and her son Ricky Jernigan. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Russell L. Spencer; her daughter Donna Mclamb (David); her grandchildren, Jennifer McLamb Clemmo (Scott), Justin McLamb (Ashley), Rickey Leon Jernigan and Kimberly Dawn Leads; and her sister Beulah Hungerford of Texas. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
