It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Marcus Meadows (Coats, North Carolina), who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey and Alice Morton Meadows; his wife Fernie Ellen Pope Meadows; his grandsons, Gary Meadows, Jr. and Clay Meadows; and his brothers, George Meadows, Colon Meadows and John Meadows.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Meadows Ruffin (David) of Havelock, Janice Westbrook (Gene) of Coats, Karen Lucas (Glenn) of Coats, Gary Meadows (Shelia) of Coats and Daryl Meadows (Amy) of Coats; and his siblings, Sam Meadows, William Meadows, Robert Meadows, Mary Alice Stephenson and Joyce Willis. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
