With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John William Avery of Coats, North Carolina, who passed away on August 12, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William David Avery and Elsie Parker Avery; and his grandson Steven Crabtree. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Autry Avery; his children, Kenny Avery of Delaware, Brian Avery (Christie) of Willow Springs, Suzette Hall (Michael) of Raleigh and Paula Roberts (Randy) of Coats; his grandchildren, Beth (Kyle), Bret, Zachary, Cheyenne (Austin), Remy, Aaron and Leigha; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Peighton and Kymber; and his brothers, Danny Avery of Dunn and David Glenn Avery of Erwin.
