She was predeceased by: her parents, Reubin Ottis and Nancy Jane West Coats; her husband Wesley Roland Pleasant; her sons, Don Wesley Pleasant and Marshall Roland Pleasant; her daughter-in-law Louann Pleasant; and her brothers, Larry Coats and Jerry Coats.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Amy Cochran (Jim) of Sanford and Lori Ann Tew (Anthony) of Coats; her great grandchildren, Kassidy Watts, Jonathan Watts and Julianna Cochran of Sanford; and her sisters, Grace McLeod of Lillington, Barbara Nash of Fuquay, Sue Pope of Dunn, Joanne Hairr of Coats and Patsy Coats of Dunn.
