He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe C. Pleasant and Pearl Guy Pleasant; his wives, Ellen Jane Pleasant and Ruth West Pleasant; his stepson Curtis Jones; and his brothers, J. R. Pleasant, Tommy Pleasant and Rev. Fred Pleasant.
He is survived by: his children, Truelah Brinkerhoff (Tom) of Erwin, Steve Pleasant (Loretta) of Coats and Danny Pleasant of Angier; and his stepsons, Mike West (Robin) of Angier and Andy Jones of Coats. He is also survived by his family, which includes 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. (90 W Stewart St, Coats, NC 27521). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Glenwood "Teeny" Addison Pleasant will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his contributions to the community, and the indelible mark he left on the lives around him.
