He was predeceased by: his son Jody Glenn Denton. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann U. Denton; his children, Scott Thomas (Alice) of Coats and Tammy Denton Matthews (Tomie) of Angier; his grandchildren, Zachary Tew, Bradley Denton, Anna Denton, Tessa Denton and Jodi Matthews; and his siblings, Harry Denton (Glenda) of Coats, David Maynor (Sharon) of Coats, Dickie Maynor (Pam) of Selma and Kim Allison (Steve) of New Bern. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
