He was predeceased by: his parents, Haywood Alton and Mary Dupree King. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Creech King; his son Tim King (Angela) of Coats; his grandchildren, Garrett King and Kaylan King; his brother Jerry King (Peggy) of Four Oaks; and his sister-in-law Clara Creech of Benson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Next Step Paralysis Recovery Center in Orlando, Florida, 277 Douglas Avenue, Suite 1006, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 to benefit Kaylan King's rehabilitation.
