He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall E. Barbour and Cora Tart Barbour; his wife Ethel Dorman Barbour; and his son-in-law Michael Eldridge. He is survived by: his children, Karen Lynn Barbour Eldridge of Machias, Timothy Doyle Barbour (Jane Gibson Barbour) of Dunn, Sonya Gail Barbour (Susie) of Nashville, TN and Jennifer Dawn Barbour Russell (Scott) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Anna Marie Barbour Rhodes (Andrew), Elytte Randle Barbour, Isabella Grace Kirkham and Calvin Phoenix Russell; and his sisters, Blanche Matthews of Angier and Jean Turnage of Erwin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with the current NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
