He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Preston and Flora Ennis Powell; his wife Beverly Ann Davis Powell; and his grandson Jonathan W. Powell. He is survived by: his sons, Rich Powell (Donna) of Texas, Don Powell, Jr. (Nancy) of Coats and Randy Powell (Sherri) of Virginia; and his close friends, Allen and Diana Danenburg.
