He is survived by: his son Devone Murchison, Jr. (Katrina); his grandchildren, Jaeshaun Murchison, Sanyjah Snead and Kaityah Ellis; his siblings, Dwight Murchison (Irene), Tracey Lee Allen, Kennie Jackson (Tonya), Genice Murchison and Jacqueline Murchison; and his cousin Janet Palmer. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19, the Governor of North Carolina has asked that all gatherings be limited to no more than 50 people including staff and all attendees such as clergy, ushers, musicians, etc.
