She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Hughes and Daisy Bell Moore Hughes; and her husband Sydney Norris, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Donna Gail Carroll, David Lynn Norris (Kim), Carolyn Sue Stevens (Tony), Betty Jean Norris, Peggy Louise Vann, Catherine Ann Parrish and Sydney James Norris; and her sister Florence Byrd. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
