He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifton Royal and Peggy Sewell Royal; his brother David Royal; his wife Sherry Byrd Royal; his daughters, Elizabeth Hodge (Darrell) of Dunn, Ashley Tart (Donnie) of Coats and Megan Frank (Greg) of Coats; and his grandchildren, Laxton Hodge, Camden Tart, Ella Hodge, Rylee Tart, Charley Frank and Naomi Frank. He was also cherished by Several in-laws who became real family, extended family, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
