She is survived by: her children, Frank Balena (Maria) of Zebulon and Roberta Messer (Mike) of Coats; her grandchildren, Brittany Chestnut (Bradley), Courtney Barefoot (Johnathan), Ryan Messer, Morgan Messer and Sara Kirby; her great grandchildren, Adaleigh Chestnut and Luke Barefoot; her niece Evelyn Dierolf; and her nephew Robert Dierolf.
