She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Willis and Ruby Turlington Willis; her husband Neal Alexander Barnes; and her siblings, Jean Coats and Jimmy Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Courtney (Richard) of Monroe, NC, Laura Rose (Rick) of Princeton, NC and Steven Neal Barnes of Colonial Heights, VA; her grandchildren, Bo Adkins (Amber), Ryan Denny (Jorden) and Paul Denny; and her great grandchildren, Alexandria, Scout, Jozy, Parker and Foster.
