It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Lee Parrish of Coats, North Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Albert Lee and Allene Benson Lee; her former husband William Paul Dixon; her husband James Edward Parrish; her brother Danny H. Lee; and her grandson William Ray Coats.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim Dixon Coats (Michael Carroll) of Coats, NC; her great grandchildren, Dawson Coats Coker and Lance Coats Coker; and her siblings, James Wilson Lee of New Bern, NC and Bernice Lee Driver of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by 6 step-children, and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
