Thomas Earl Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Earl Smith of Clyde, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Will Parker Smith; his child Beverly Anne Teague Smith; his siblings, J. T. Smith, Howard Smith, Clayton Smith, Paul Smith, Louise Melton, Ruth Rogers and Emogene Webb; and his wife Lillian "Lil" Smith.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael Dewayne Smith (Sharilyn), Thomas Daniel Smith (Amy) and Roger Dale Smith (Holly); his grandchildren, Savannah Garet (Jason), Cash, Ellie, Erin and Alana Smith; his great grandchild Everley Garet; his stepdaughter Cathy Best (Ronnie); his stepgrandsons, Justin and Josh Best; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Gracie, Knox, Emma and Owen.
