Sue (Plemmons) Smathers Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue (Plemmons) Smathers (Clyde, North Carolina), who passed away on July 22, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, B. S. Plemmons and Nina Parker Plemmons; and her sister Marilou Mason of Canton. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Smathers; her daughters, Kathy Eavenson (Scotty) and Karen Best (Marty); her grandchildren, Jamie Henson (Mark) and Jeremy Best (Caitlin); and her great grandchildren, Caroline, Harper Henson, Hadley, Cole, Palmer and Jace Best. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
