He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Ferguson (Pauline) of Hendersonville and Penny Sheppard; his siblings, Marleen Marshall (George), Martin Sheppard (Jennifer) and Mark Sheppard of New Martinsville, WV; his stepbrothers, Mike and Jay McCarson of Hendersonville; his stepchild Melissa Johnson (Brian); and his stepgrandchildren, Krista Johnson, Keana and Keith Cooper. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
