He was predeceased by: his father Ned Sutton; and his grandparents, Troy, Ora Sutton, James Shockley Sr. and Gertrude.

He is survived by: his mother Catherine Shockley Sutton of Clyde; his sisters, Linda Justice (Charles) of Waynesville and Connie Bradley (Eric) of Clyde; his nephews, Kevin Justice (Wendy) of Richmond, KY, Brian Justice (Corene) of Hickory and Kyle Bradley of Clyde; his niece Lucinda Justice of Waynesville; and his aunts, Marianne Tracey (John), Beverly Shockley and Vicki Shockley. He is also survived by his five great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Wells Funeral Home in Stevie's name to assist with final expenses.
