He was predeceased by: his parents, James Watson and Helen Hawkins Watson; and his former wife Hilda Pressley Watson. He is survived by: his wife Lissa Caldwell; his daughters, Amy Wood (Allen) and Amanda West (Brian); his stepchildren, Jody Caldwell (Lea) and Jason Caldwell; his sisters, Sue Meares, Terrie Cutshaw (Bobby), Anita "Tuter" Markus and Diana Matney (Stuart); and his grandchildren, Evangeline "Eva", Ella, Alisha and Chase.
