She was predeceased by: her parent James Hill Dumas; her husband Reverend Lewis D. McConnell; and her brother Hill Dumas. She is survived by: her parent Bertha Jones Dumas; her children, Della Purvis of Georgia, Buddy McConnell, Sherry McConnell of Florida and Reverend Tim McConnell; her grandchildren, Michael Belue (Amanda), Leah Mehaffey (David), Kevin Purvis, Scott Purvis, Heath McConnell (Samatha), Daniel McConnell (Shannon), Heidi Nolte (Erik) and David Avera (Rhonda); and also Buddy of Georgia. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
