It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Burl Cook (Clyde, North Carolina), who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Cook and Lillie Mae Cook; his siblings, Jack Cook, Ellen Hal and Ruby Medford; and his daughter Wanda Cook.
He is survived by: his son Edward Cook (Suzy) of Sylva; his sister Rachel Wilkie (Frank); and his grandchildren, Leigha Parker of Sylva, Amanda Williams (Aaron) of Whittier, Josh Cook of Franklin and Kerry Cannon (Patrick) of Clyde. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
