He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Trantham and Pearl Cogdill Trantham; and his wife Pearl Beasley Trantham. He is survived by: his son John Schmidt (Dena); and his siblings, Francine Trantham Ledford and Tom Trantham. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
