He was predeceased by: his grandson Joseph W. Treadway; and his nephew Matthew Kemp. He is survived by: his wife Olga Ilavierna Byrd; his children, Angela Byrd Treadway of Canton and Brian Byrd (Charlene) of Hendersonville; his stepdaughter Masha Bachuk of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Tyler, Alec and Riley; and his siblings, Cindy Collins (Gary) of Tennessee, Robyn Byrd of Crossville, Vernon Byrd (Patty) of Granger and Meloney Moore (Pat) of Clyde. He is also survived by his parents, and built houses with his father, he loved his pet birds and cats.
