He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Irene Sharp; his parents, Wesley Sharp and Edna Garnes Sharp; his sister Bertha Blaylock; and his sister-in-law Janelle Sharp.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jessie Ledford (Joe) of Canton and Roy Sharp of Waynesville; and his nephews, Dewayne Ledford (Scotty Blaylock) and John (Lisa Leatherwood).
