It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Henson Mathis (Clyde, North Carolina), who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Henson and Beatrice Henson; her siblings, Ronnie, Sarah and Christine; and her nephew Brett Howell.

She is survived by: her husband James W. Mathis; and her children, Robin Parton (Todd), Kelly Mathis (Robin), Trina Mathis (Tonia) and Shane Mathis. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
