He was predeceased by: his son Taft Noland; and his father Thomas Noland. He is survived by: his daughter Cheyenne Noland Wright of Arden; his mother Doris Smathers; his siblings, Phyllis Crawford (Steve) of Waynesville, Wilfred Thomas Noland (Pat) of Georgia and Donald "Donny" Noland of Clyde; and his grandchildren, Jaden, Ranlea and Dallas. He is also survived by two nephews along with multiple friends.
