He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arthur and Edna Jefferis Lord; and his brothers, John Arthur, II and Peter Jefferis Lord. He is survived by: his wife Susan Lord; his son Philip Lord, Jr. (Michelle) of Bakersville; his granddaughter Zoë Lord; his brother-in-law Douglas Staiger (Sheila); and his pet Cracker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
