With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nathan Ownbey (Clyde, North Carolina), who passed away on November 7, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Frank Alexander Ownbey; and his brother Curtis Franklin Ownbey. He is survived by: his parent Mary Ruth Alexander Ownbey; his children, Timothy Scott Ownbey (Karen) of Enka, Steven Lane Ownbey of West Asheville and Cindi Dawn Ownbey of Belton, SC; his stepdaughter Gwen Boyd of Asheville; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Thomas, Marcie and Alex; and his sister-in-law Lois Ownbey of Asheville.
