Mary Cogburn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Cogburn of Clyde, North Carolina, who passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Henson and Lucille Kuykendall Henson; and her siblings, Phyllis Sellen, Joann Ruff and R. L. Henson.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Cogburn; her children, Robin Smith (Charlie) of Holden Beach and Robert Edward Cogburn (Denise) of Canton; her sister Betty Inman of Clyde; and her granddaughters, Cassie Rogers (Cale), Meagan Pearson (Josh), Heather Price (Brandon), Marcy Sparks (Lane) and Leah Pressley. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
