She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardy Nelson and Alma Williams Nelson; her husband G. C. Palmer, Jr.; and her son David Palmer. She is survived by: her children, Lynne Palmer Leatherwood of Crabtree, Mary Gaye Bumgarner (Mark) of Waynesville and Cecil Palmer, III of Crabtree; her grandchildren, Susan Roberts (John), Stacey Bumgarner, Riley Palmer (Kim), Montanna Palmer, Nelson Palmer and MacKenzie Lawrence (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Ben, Matthew, Cypress, Adaline, Will, Sarah and Charlie.
