We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2023, at the age of 69, Lillie Marlene Hill Donahue (Clyde, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Walker Hill and Blanche Edith Trull Hill; and her husband Glen Donahue. She is survived by: her children, Melody Teague Rose of Jonesborough, TN and Kelsey Teague Ferguson (Nathan); her grandson Bryson Ferguson; her pet Mary Jean Hill Henson (Mike); her sister Tammy Hill Cochran (Scott); and her nieces and nephews, Francesca Cochran of Las Vegas, NV, Kristi Hannah of Thickety, Dennis Stamey-Lucas (Paul) of Marietta, GA, Adrian Presnell (Courtney) of Crabtree and Jeremy Hill (Darci) of Cruso.
The family asks that donations be made in remembrance of Marlene through either Solace Hospice Care at 21 Belvedere Road, Asheville, NC 28803 or Crabtree-Ironduff Volunteer Fire Department at 99 Susie Noland Drive, Clyde, NC 28721.
