With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lena Frances Scruggs of Clyde, North Carolina, who passed away on February 29, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Cagle and Lou Grasty Cagle; her husband Glen Scruggs; her daughter Sharon Diane; and her siblings, Jack, Amos, Lowey, Gilmer, Helen, Wilma and Cary.

She is survived by: her children, Glenda Scruggs Ferguson (Darwin) and Chipper Scruggs (Jackie). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
