It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Roy Strickland of Clyde, North Carolina, born in Madison, North Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Strickland and Ethel Strickland; and his brothers, JC, Alan and Kenneth Strickland.

He is survived by: his children, Frances Lee Hannah (Roy), Roy Lane Strickland and Kim Taylor (Buddy); and his brothers, Danny, Edward and Joseph Strickland.
