It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Evans of Clyde, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rathbone and Anna Mae Smith Rathbone; her husband Walter Evans; and her brother Johnny Rathbone (Sharon). She is survived by: her siblings, Henry Rathbone (Linda), Katherine Hahn (Paul) and Gerald Rathbone (Mildred); her stepson Mike Evans; her granddaughter Laci Jo Evans (Joe); her great grandchildren, Kellsi Jo Rogers (Tristen), Aubrey Evans (Ethen) and Grainger Rogers (Diahna); her stepgrandchildren, Anthony Simpson and Pehton Simpson; her stepgreat-granddaughter Jasmine Powell; her great great grandchild Gunner Clontz; and also Shelly Evans.
