He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillard "Doc" Parker and Bonnie Easter Robinson; his wife Alma Jean Parker; his daughter Misty Dawn; and his brothers, Dillard and Carroll "Bud".
He is survived by: his daughter Lora Parker Messer of Clyde; his grandchildren, Rachel Perdue (Caleb) of Virginia and Jed Messer (Emily Mehaffey Messer) of Clyde; and his sisters, Shirley, Jewel, Isabelle, Linda and Mary.
