It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Duane Beasley (Clyde, North Carolina), who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Coman Beasley and Edith Lowe Beasley of Panther Creek; his brother Roger Beasley; and his brother-in-law Carl Kenneth Horton. He is survived by: his brother Steve Beasley (Charlene) of Sylva; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sonoma and Daniella Dul of Charlotte; his nephew Steve; his great-niece Jessica (Matt Reynolds) of Macon County; his sister Sandra Horton of Lake Junaluska; his children, Chad Stephen Horton of Fletcher and Carla Horton Gray (Paul) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Wilken and Johnny B; his son Brian Beasley; his grandson Walker of Waynesville; his sons, Alan Beasley of Asheville and Roger Beasley; his niece Carla; his nephew Wilken; and also Shelly Dul (Jason).
