He was predeceased by: his parent John Hascue; his wife Jincie Patton Kinsland; and his siblings, Carroll Kinsland and Patsy Pruett. He is survived by: his parent Lois Evans Kinsland; his daughters, Mary Jean Carpenter (Dale) of Spruce Pine and Lois Davis of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Jeff Carpenter (Meredith) of Waynesville and Jonathan Davis (Elizabeth) of Greensboro; his sister-in-law Maxine Mann Kinsland of Canton; and his friend Maria Rojas. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; one great-grandson.
