It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Gardner of Clyde, North Carolina, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Robert E. Gardner; his niece Rachel Gardner Jones; and his parents-in-law, Don Hogsed and Carol Hogsed. He is survived by: his mother Betty Anne Beville Gardner of Charlottesville, VA; his wife Angie; his son Tyler Gardner (Neekou) of Fairview, N. C.; his siblings, Bryan (Kathy) and Debra Abbott (Bill); his stepmother Brenda Gardner of Murphy, N. C.; his brother-in-law Mike Hogsed Murphy (Dawn); and his grandson Cyrus John.
