He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Buckley and Ruth Eck Buckley; and his siblings, Denis E. Buckley and Alison Buckley Snyder. He is survived by: his sister Beverly Toth (Richard) of Goshen, IN; his nephew Ryan Toth of Goshen, IN; his niece Erin Toth Hutchinson (Michael) of Seattle, WA; and his great-niece Alice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in John's name to REACH of Haywood County, PO Box 206, Waynesville, NC 28786, the domestic violence/sexual assault/elder abuse prevention/intervention agency that John supported and contributed to over the years.
