Jean Bryant Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Bryant of Clyde, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend George Ingle and Alta Elizabeth Fox Ingle; her husband Erwin Grooms; her son Billy Grooms; and her brothers, Charles Logan, Dale Elon and Allison Harrison Ingle.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Ann Reed of Raleigh, Vicky Diane Payne (John Henry) of Waynesville and Michael Erwin Grooms of Canton; and her siblings, Barbara Woody of Canton and Mark "Leon" Ingle of White Pine, Tennessee. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maple Grove Baptist Church, 2501 Stamey Cove Rd, Waynesville, NC 28786.
