He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Clontz Mathis and James Lecil Mathis; and his wife Rebecca Henson Mathis. He is survived by: his children, Robin Parton Kelly (Todd), Trina Mathis (Tonia Bowman) and Shane Mathis. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren.
