It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hester Green of Clyde, North Carolina, born in Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stiles and Inez Jenkins Stiles; her husband Tommy F. Green; her siblings, Ruby Shuler Aldridge, Ralph, Ray and John Stiles; her son-in-law Darrell Schmidt; her cousin Ruby Lovin; and the father of her children Dale Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Beatrice Mashburn of Clyde, Ruby Lynch of Raleigh, Mary Schmidt of Clyde and Roger Walker of Seneca; her sister-in-law Bobbie Stiles of Fayetteville, Georgia; her friends, Pauline Massie, Willa Mae Waldroup and Sandy Loftis; and her sister-in-law Virginia Walker. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, all protocols and mandates are requested to be followed, including mask.
