She was predeceased by: her husband Toney Wood; her daughter Margaret Mitchell; her parents, Raleigh Saunders and Clarcy Saunders; her siblings, Gilberta Bryson, Grace Brown, Vanalee Ashe and John Saunders; and her great grandchild Devon Peters.
She is survived by: her children, Rickey Wood (Anita Peters) and Tammy Vess (Donald); and her grandchildren, Sherry James, Amber James (Channon), Sharon Green, Mark Wood, Josh Wood, Dustin Peters (Barbara) and Dakota Peters. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and 6 step-grandchildren.
