He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Collins and Etta Vick Collins; and his sisters, Jeanette Jackson and Louise Fagan. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Leneir Collins (Tamara) and Heath Collins; his brother-in-law Ernest Jackson; his grandchildren, Logan Collins and Hannah Miessner (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Tristan and Kaiden Miessner; his cousins, Charles and Judy Jackson; and his stepchildren, Charles H. Ray, Jr., David Ray, Donna Baleklojian and Cynthia McCracken.
