It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Delano Hicks (Clyde, North Carolina), who passed away on August 10, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Filmore Millard Hicks and Margie Lee Hicks; and his siblings, Glen, Reeves Hicks, Sarah Hicks, Grace Bishop and Inis Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Paxton Hicks; his children, Ginger Hicks (Marie Whitener) and Franklin D. Hicks, Jr.; his sister Nina Trantham; his grandson Seth Hicks; his niece Becky Boyd Hayden; and also Barret.
